June 9, 2009Like I said, I love some taebo. I’m still
doing it everyday as usual, same taebo tape till I get another one. Well, I just put up a small short video clip of me
doing 2 taebo moves and various poses.
I did this outside of my aunt’s
house in the back. It was so sunny
out, that’s why the video looks so
bright. Just to recap, I lost about 30
pounds doing taebo. Taebo, with all
the kicks and jumps rocks the house.
But it’s the best fitness routine for
me. I increased the amount of squats
involved in taebo that I do. I increased
the kicks, the leg lifts, the jumps, etc
by doing five sets of each.
Anyways here is the picture

She does a weekly shampoo with
Sisterlocks Salon Formula Shampoo or even
Dr. Bronners Pure Castille Soap ( in dilution of
1 part soap to 3 parts water)
Rinse with a herbal hair rinse (she’s now using Ebene
Naturals herbal rinse from Carol’s Daughter. Carol’s
Daughter is a product of hair supplies just in case that’s’
new to you.)
She oils her scalp with Carol’s Daughter’s Khoret Ahmen Oil or
her own oil recipe after shampooing.
Then she massages her scalp by moving the scalp around on
the skull instead of moving fingers around on scalp.
Separate the locks in order to make sure they don’t grow
together.
IF the hair or scalp is dry, which rarely happens or if it does not
get it together, she spritzes with water, a mixture of water
and essential oil or Sisterlocks Spray Moisturizer.
The Oil she uses is:
The Oil
2 oz. castor oil
2 oz. jojoba oil
24 drops rosemary essential oil
20 drops bay (West Indies) essential oil
18 drops atlas cedarwood essential oil
I use this as a scalp oil, hair oil, and as a hot oil treatment.
I modified the recipe for use with water as a spritz:
The Spritz (nappy hair loves water!)
4 oz. water
12 drops rosemary essential oil
10 drops bay (West Indies) essential oil
9 drops atlas cedarwood essential oil
