Why can’t a woman have more than one husband?

Peace

Brother, a woman doesn’t need more than one! In fact one is too much to take of,it takes all your time and energy and with the children,in fact the nature of woman makes them satisfied with one! It’s the physical nature of the man that makes him polygamous-anything can turn him on. Not so the woman-she takes in ,not sprays like the man and she must not take in rubbish and make herself polluted so she naturally would like to know who is the father of her children, etc. She is content with just one man

Forgive me, my reply wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. All I meant to say was what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Besides, it really depends on the individual. I know men who are satisfied with monogamous relationship, I know women who like to play the field. Normally, when a man and woman enter a relationship these days, it’s normally understood that it will be a one on one kind of thing. If not, both need to agree on what kind of relationship they will have. All the dishonesty needs to be kicked to the curb.

    Peace

BROTHERPEACEMAKER,this is a serious topic,as this argument about the Sisters doing the same thing as the Brothers is often made. I have found from experience that the SIster who plays the field has often been hurt by men and therefore does that to “protect herself” from being hurt again but once a SISTER finds a BROTHER who is for her she wouldn’t think of another man again.Honesty is the basis of all true BLACK relationships I agree. That’s why I told P-Diddy to be straight upfront about the type of relationship he wanted with any SISTER!

Interesting topic. I have wondered if that were to happen how would everything go down. I just never understood why its socially more acceptable to accept polygamy rather than polyandry. Could it be that maybe her “main husband” would feel inadequate because his wife is being satisfied by another lover?

Brothers Peacemaker and PBlanton, can a woman teach a man how to fish, hunt or live a life without selling his soul to survive? No, she can not. Do Black women succesfully raise black boys into Black men without the presence of a father to meet todays society’s demands? No, she does not.
If Black women could do these things then mainstream power brokers would already had given her the political and enforcement to have more than one man. In example, the fact black men would vote for Billary Clinton over Obama clearly demonstrates the lack of will on the part of black men in America to support one another, thus the black man is not a man for even thinking about sharing his woman with othe weak willed men!!!

glamar here! i say, did you forget the topic, for your need to block with male prowess, which serves no purpose unless women take note or theres another man to fight? imagine a woman of authority rather than the inferred low cast you assume… one who has the time, finances, and edu-wherewithall to handle polyandry. seriously now… do you think women have been a mans backbone without ever thinking she can handle a variety pack? more often than not, the heros of color you venerate where reared by women without fulltime male influences inside the home. even religious figures… there has also been societial norms that prevented males from full interaction with minors as a matter of harmony and safety. there was no such limit of sexual prowess for a female unless the society favored virginity above necessity. glamar away!
