Leadership in action: Obama’s speed and balancing act

By GottaLaff

When I first learned to type, my teacher’s mantra was “speed and accuracy”. P.E. Obama must have had the same teacher:

Barack Obama was back in the Capitol on Tuesday, not yet president but seeming to manage three governments at a time while taking questions from old Senate colleagues.

First is Obama’s own administration, still being assembled and facing a few rough patches a week before his Inauguration. Next is his ambitious economic recovery bill, approaching $850 billion and fast becoming a second government in its own right. Third is the leftover business of the outgoing Bush White House: what to do with the last $350 billion in a financial markets rescue fund approved a month before Obama’s election.

Moving fast has always been an Obama trademark. The man scarcely stayed in the Senate two years before running for president. And his appearance at the Democratic luncheon followed the same format: a brief summary of the business at hand followed by opening up the floor to questions.

“He makes his points,” Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) said, grinning slightly. “He allows everyone to ask questions, and that’s a sign of leadership.”

Lawrence Summers, the former Harvard president and Clinton Treasury secretary, was on hand — but also largely unneeded by Obama.

“Let’s put it this way,” said Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.). “We didn’t ask any questions that stumped him.”
Energizer Barack.

Comcast launches all-Obama channel

Heh, in the comments at Mike’s place one of the wingers bitched that pretty soon we’d need to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine to protect them from all the Obama news. Gotta love it. Looking it over, it seems it’s more of a President’s channel than an Obama channel, citing the White House and Air Force one stuff.

In several markets, Comcast cable is launching an all-Obama, On Demand channel. (In D.C., it’s channel 963).

Leading up to Inauguration, the channel will offer a number of Obama-related programs, according to a release: “Barack Obama’s most famous speeches to date, from his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in 2004 through his election night victory speech in Grant Park; Barack Obama biography; Michelle Obama’s 2008 Democratic National Convention speech; a tour of the White House; and the history of Air Force One.”

The Black Jews of South-Side ChicagoEric Molinsky
APRIL 19, 2008

Temple Beth Shalom was built more than six decades ago, when the South Side of Chicago was full of Eastern European Jews. The synagogue is still here, but the congregation has changed. Today, the members are mostly African-American, and they call themselves Hebrew Israelites.

In some ways, the congregation borrows from traditions of black Christian worship. Congregants stand at their pews, clapping and singing, and many wear dashikis and tailored black robes. Men wear large skullcaps of traditional African design, with Jewish iconography woven into the patterns.

Tammy McCullough has attended the synagogue since she was a child, and says she identifies with the ancient Israelites because they were dark-skinned and they were slaves. “My grandmother always told me we were the people who came out of Egypt,” McCullough says.

“We don’t forget we’re descendants from slaves — we went through a lot to get here as a people. We bring that spirit with us in the music, in the teaching, in the speaking,” she says. “We are passionate people, because at one point that’s all we had, our passion and our music. That’s all we had.”

The Hebrew Israelite movement started in the early 1900s, around the same time as The Nation of Islam. Both religious movements appealed to African-Americans who were seeking a new identity beyond the black Christian church.

At a recent Saturday, Rabbi Capers Funnye led the congregation through a six-hour service that included prayers in Hebrew. He also gave a sermon about the environment, using Biblical interpretation.

Rabbi Funnye was born a Christian and grew up in the South during the Jim Crow era. In his mind, he couldn’t separate Christianity from the politics of segregation. He went through a spiritual crisis — he looked at Islam for a while, then explored Judaism. One day, he asked a white rabbi about the role of Africans in the Old Testament. “He said… many of the first Jews were in fact people of African descent — and I said a ‘Ha! That’s starting to make some sense — now we can talk more.”

There are different sub-groups within Judaism, from Hasidic to Sephardic. Rabbi Funnye studied all of them, and picked the practices that made sense to him. He became a Jew in 1971 and eventually was ordained as a rabbi — because, he says, it fit his personality and his inquisitive mind.

“Judaism allows a person to be as intellectual as they can possibly be, and still hold on to all the faith in the world,” Rabbi Funnye says. “You do not have to give up your faith to be a good Jew. You do not have to give up your intellect to be a good Jew. They coexist within the Jew. Other faiths don’t necessarily allow that.

“So why Judaism? You can question God.”

In some ways, Rabbi Funnye’s spiritual development, and the black synagogue, mirrors the history of activism in the black community from the Civil Rights movement to identity politics. Judaism, he says, provides a set of rules that governs daily life. The rituals remind people that God is watching, and Jewish law help them wrestle with moral choices, both big and small. “That’s the wresting inside of every human being that has to go on,” Rabbi Funnye says. “And Judaism allows those dichotomies and those tensions to exist in us. And it’s OK. It’s OK.”

His positive message seems to resonate — membership has soared. And he’s bringing the congregation closer to their roots in Africa: Temple Beth Shalom is working with several congregations in Uganda. Rabbi Funnye says that unlike Ethiopian Jews, the congregations in Uganda have had very little contact with the outside Jewish world until now.

“And one group of leaders said to me in my last visit in September: ‘Rabbi, please, if we join and you become our spiritual leader, please tell me that we can still drum and dance.’ I said I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Back in Chicago, even white Jews are beginning to come through the door. But these are mostly Reform Jews, from the liberal wing of Judaism. The Orthodox refuse to recognize Hebrew Israelites. Some of the black Jews aren’t sure what to make of the white congregants. The Rabbi hopes to bridge the gap and let both sides know they should feel right at home with each other.

“The pronunciation may be a little different, but the words are the same,” he says.

In response to these two comments: The word Jew means of the tribe of Judah (and includes Levi and benjamin as well). So yes Jesus IS a Jew and the term should not be considered darogatory.

I think that it is a little sad that from the radio story it seems, he could only see the truth in a religion because his race was not included in the story.
I am Indian and Indians are never mentioned in the Bible but I was able to see how God reaches out to me even though there is never a particular instance of God going to India.
It annoys me when they picture Jesus as a blonde haired blue eyed babe, but it would be just as strange if he were brown with curls.

I’m glad to see people sparring on the true name of the creator, his son and his true people. The son was a shortcut (Like in a MS Windows environment) to the actual application (.exe file, executable). While everyone keeps thinking the shortcut does performs the application, it’s the (.exe) that performs that function. All the while, the shortcut keeps telling you “To get to the father, you must click on me.”

ms.berman you are either a HEBREW ISRAELITES or a gentile. it is as simple as that… in the word you will see there was foreigners who dwell at times, and they follow the faith of the ISRAELITES,BUT they were NOT ISRAELITES. and they knew that.. There isn’t a “Jj” letter in HEBREW. YOU will also see in the word that Abraham has a baby by an Ethiopian woman and that child was rejected as being a chosen one because mother was an ethiopan. YOu will also see in the word, that was indeed Solomon sin, Having sexual relation with women that was not Israelites, for these women will get you to follow their gods and believe system.

JACK BEAN what do you mean there are no black Jews? Did you forget about the Jewish people from Ethiopia? The ones forced into slavery and forbidden to follow the teachings of the Torah! Some may be the lost Israelite tribe of Dan; they may be descendants of Menelik I, son of King Solomon and Queen Sheba, they may be descendants of Ethiopian Christians and pagans who converted to Judaism centuries ago, and they may be descendants of Jews who fled Israel for Egypt after the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BCE and eventually settled in Ethiopia; BUT they are Black Jews! There are many Black Jews that are not “Hebrews”.
There are also many followers of the old testament from various backgrounds for various reasons, faith, tradition, finding what works for them.

“JESUS” was not a “JEW”
He was a Hebrew. HE followed the laws of the Torah. Including pasach(passover,) which he did the last time in what christians commonly refer to as the last supper.
People, please do some research on the words you use. The letter “J” is not a Hebrew letter. THe creater has a proper name and it is not “GOD”.

Before you all get on here and comment and instruct and make claims like you know everything, learn some basics and background about the religion you defend. I do not by any means claim to be an expert, and I am humble enough to know that I learn something new every day.

I reccomend two books. “Come out of her my people.” and “Fossilized customs.”

What is a black Jew? If he is a HEBREW, he is not a jew. The people of tha Tanak were not jews. The word jew did not even exist. THey were Hebrews. The Yahudim. Jews are of European descent. Blacks who practise Judaism are not the same as Hebrew Israelites. This article might paint a clear pricure of this particular congregation, but it by no means correctly depicts scriptural history or the Hebrew Israelite culture.

I am white man who was born into Judaism and Bar Mitzvahed. I turned away from organized religion in my mid teens after the rabbi I grew up with retired. The replacement rabbi had passion, and perhaps even charisma, but he did not project wisdom. I felt my synagogue had lost its direction. My wife and I are now expecting our first child and we want to find a new congregation so that we may provide our child with a religious education as well as a secular education. I wish that Temple Beth Shalom was here in Boston, as Rabbi Funnye sounds like the kind of inspirational religious leader that would draw me back to organized religion. Bravo on a wonderful piece about this leader and his congregation who seem to have truly discovered spirituality.

First and foremost, Isha Green qouted form Matthew…. the book of Matthew doesn’t not even exist in the Jewish faith. Matthew is from the new books and is NOT followed by Jews at all. Second, their are blacks Jews. It depends on where the people of Egypt settled after their fled from the Pharoh. Egypt being in Africa… draw it up…. My family fled to European countries while others settled in China, other African countried that were safe like Morocco…. As far as Rabbi Capers Funnye, I can’t speak for him, I can only assume that he found a faith that he could believe in and others did as well. There are truly African Jews that have settled around the country who have followed as they were raised and taught through their traditions. As any Jew will know, its all about tradtion and keep them alive.

Rabbi Funnye is so right, “Judaism allows a person to be as intellectual as they can possibly be, and still hold on to all the faith in the world.” Judaism allows one to think and learn endlessly, while in Christianity one’s reasoning is being resticted one is always walking in a tight robe – reason and faith in constant conflict. Here, the inquisitive mind is the key. If someone really inquires into Judaism, as Rabbi Funnye did long ago, one will see the light, the beauty of Judaism.

Saying “Black Jew” is like saying Black African American. The so-called Jews were and are Black. Being a Jew doesn’t belong to those white people who call themselves Jews. They are converts from the Khazar Empire. We were born Jews. This is why the slave masters didn’t want us to speak any of our native languages or read the Bible. The Bible was authored by and about so-called Black people.

I feel that this so man embarked on something when wanting to accept the Jewish Way. I am not sure if he found it or not I have not heard him minister. But I will say this to all people. Jesus was a Jew, As it says in Matthew, He came to save his people. So if you want to be close to GOD, you need to know and obey the teachings of His Son. If you believe that Jesus died and arose and is truly the Son of GOD. The scriptures clearly states that there is no other way to Him but by His Son. That is why we pray to Jesus. He is the Mediator Between God and Man. The Scriptures teach us the life that Jesus taught, if we want to get to Heaven. How your actions should be here on earth. Without Him you will never know GOD. The Scriptures clearly states, He who hath the Son hath the Father. Obey the teachings of Jesus. The Hebrew Jesus. The Jew. His people were Jewish and He lived Jewish.

The ridiculousness in all this is that the person christians claim to follow Jesus or specifically Yahushuah was not christian at all. He was a torah practising Jew that came to include gentiles in the israelite covenant so that they too could become israelites. The pharasee’s or as they are called today orthodox rabbi’s are the same people that distorted the torah and added false traditions like the oral torah, midrash and mishnanh. It is saddening to see black people trying to adopt this side of religion instead of following the torah like the son of man yahushuah wanted us to. I respect Karaite jews and Natsarim jews because they push for a more purer textual religion instead of man made laws.

I guess I can sort of understand how they would want to be Jews because when you think about it Jesus was a Jew but by him bringing upon the Jews the Holy Ghost Spirit they themselves became Christians, which is what the Christians are all about…worshiping God and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost so that their name may be written in the Book of Life. There’s no other way to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven besides that way. There’s only One Way to God.

Some Blacks Choose Obama Inauguration Over Work

ATLANTA – Asante Bradford gave his bosses nearly three months notice that he would not be at his desk on Jan. 20. A day after Barack Obama’s historic presidential win, Bradford knew he wanted to be able to whoop it up when Obama was sworn in as the nation’s first black chief executive – and that he couldn’t do that at work.

“I decided if I couldn’t be (in Washington D.C.), I’m just going to take the day off, just so I can scream and holler,” said Bradford, 40, who works for the state of Georgia as a liaison to the entertainment industry. He plans to watch the festivities at home with friends.

People across the country may notice the absence of their black colleagues and classmates on Inauguration Day, as many who won’t be traveling to Washington gather at homes, restaurants and churches, huddle around TVs and watch the historic swearing in from afar. And while the ceremony itself will only last a few hours, the entire day offers a chance to reflect and rejoice in the moment.

“Being at work is not an option,” said Brenda Wilson, a 51-year-old manager at the American Cancer Society in Atlanta who abandoned her dreams of heading to Washington but will not be in the office. “I wouldn’t be able to get any work done, wondering what was going on.”

Coming a day after the federal observance of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday – many black Americans deem the day as something of a holiday requiring cultural solidarity, much like the Million Man March or the first King holiday in 1986. Then as now, many black people felt compelled to miss work, said Mark Anthony Neal, a professor of black popular culture at Duke University.

It recalls the 1965 theatrical classic “Day of Absence,” a one-act satire by black playwright Douglas Turner Ward that ponders events in a fictitious Southern town when all of the black people suddenly go missing.

“There’s a symbolism to this moment that would allow that they stay home and celebrate in their own ways,” said Neal, who plans to watch the ceremony with his daughters at their school.

Some businesses, particularly those with a large number of black employees, will accommodate workers, realizing the significance of the day.

Offices at The 100 Black Men of Atlanta will be closed to give the staff “an opportunity to participate in the experience” of the inauguration, said its chief executive officer John Grant. The group is a local chapter of The 100 Black Men of America, an organization of professional men who serve as mentors and role models for at-risk youth.

Many from there will spend at least part of their day at a boys’ charter school in Atlanta, watching the ceremony with about 175 sixth- and seventh-graders, including quite a few who will interrupt their workdays to volunteer.

“We want to sit with these young men and have a conversation with them about the importance of what this means to the nation, to the world and the image for young African-American men to see (Obama) with his wife and family and what this can mean for them,” Grant said.

Organizations like the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, headquartered in Baltimore will stay open, though employees will likely pause to watch the events.

Morehouse College, the renowned historically black institution in Atlanta, has not canceled classes but will offer a campus viewing for students and faculty.

“It’s important for students to view and discuss the significance of an extraordinary moment in American history,” said Robert Franklin, president of the all-male college. “At the same time, we want to continue the work of preparing future leaders.”

The college is also sending two busloads of students to Washington.

But others, like Bari A. Williams, a corporate attorney in Oakland, Calif., will have to experience history from afar. She said she’s either planning to work from home or take the day off to watch the ceremony on TV with her only black co-worker in an office of about 50 lawyers.

“This is history unfolding live, said Williams, 28. “It’s one of those ‘Where were you?’ moments that you’ll discuss all of your life. This is the real New Year’s Eve to me and all of my friends.”

While thousands of blacks are expected to make the pilgrimage to the capital for the long inauguration weekend, others were convinced by the cold temperatures, high pricetag and big crowds to stay put.

Estella Gary, a 27-year-old public affairs specialist from Tallahassee, Fla., said she thought about being there in person, but got nervous that she might get caught in a logistical nightmare.

“I don’t want to miss any of this historical moment at all,” said Gary. “Who knows if I’ll ever see it again?”

Instead, Gary is watching at home – alone. She said she doesn’t want to repeat her Election Night mistake of watching with friends.

“It became a social hour,” she said. “This time, I want to focus in and watch it. I don’t want to be somewhere having a conversation about it.”

As with Gary, the inauguration will likely be more introspective than jubilant for some, said Neal, the expert on black popular culture.

“You can understand why people actually want to pay attention to Obama taking the oath, to want to hear Aretha Franklin sing. That makes it very different than Election Night,” Neal said. “It’s a much more reflective moment.”

CHIEF IBIKUNLE ODULANI,A SPIRITUAL LEADER BASED IN MIAMI,FLORIDA STARTS A SERIES ON THE BLACK MAN’S ROLE IN POLYGAMY!

January 14, 2009

(I asked Chief Ibikunle Odunlani,a Spiritual Leader,Polygamist in Miami,Florida to write a series dealing with the Role of the Black man in Polygamy and how to treat all the wives fairly without favoritism. This is the first article.) n1184707824_30309888_2887 POLYGAMY AND THE MAN AND HIS WOMEN
BY CHIEF IBIKUNLE ODULANI,MIAMI FLORIDA

This is in response and solution to the problem:
A man must have confidence within himself and be secure with his surroundings. If he, the husband or even the wife have the insecurities of sexual nature or uses material possessions to sustain their relationship then the relationship will spiral downward.
Chief Odulani

UNDERSTANDING POLYGAMY IS THE FIRST STEP TO SECURE RELATIONS

There have been many discussions about the polygamous society of the Yorubas. If we are to understand the ancient traditional society, we must rebuild or reorientate our thinking and not to substitute the dictionary meaning of polygamy. We must also address the social conditioning of 400 years of separation from traditional values.

Firstly, this system isn’t a excuse for sexually promiscuous relationships, be it instigated by male or female. It is a system of developing the family.

In our contemporary social conditioning, we view things on a worldly or physical level and cannot see the important of “spiritually caring” for each other. Conditioned men use the term, polygamy, to sexual exploit the mothers of their children without respecting them. We find that in traditional society it approved of the multiple wives system, provided it was done in the open and not to the detriment of others. “Without lies or deception”. Most relationships in this society begin with deception and then we sit back and wonder why we cannot have an enduring or secure relationship. Traditionally, there was also a multiple husband system, for a wife was free to leave her husband to take residence as the wife of another man, especially if the first failed to make her fruitful, but it had to be a clean break and in accordance with the custom which did not impose sanctions through the medium of high divorce fees or slander. This is not to be judged as adultery, which is not accepted in the tradition, but the right of the person to receive truth in relationships. Adultery is quite a different matter. This was a contract between God and man, in which any individual culprit necessarily and automatically involved in society-as the organic unit of which that individual is an integral part-in “a crime against the gods such as adultery such society became responsible and the punishment of the gods would be meted out, not simply to the people involved, but to society as a whole. Again it’s necessary to be up-front in ones relationships or face the consequences of your actions.

I don’t believe that most have grown to the point of accepting responsibilities in polygamous relationships. Many who state that they are for this, both men and women, get mid stream and reverse their direction. We must be sincere at the beginning of the affair and not have hidden motives for involvements, e.g., money, titles, alimony or sex, etc. If these are the motives they should be revealed in the beginning of the relationship and no deceit/lies or hidden agendas. If the beginning is in this direction of truth, not only will you have a lasting relationship, but be able to “have your cake and eat it to”, meaning that everything will be shared in harmony.

Not Just A Dream: Obama Sparks Black Men To Action
NASHVILLE, Tenn — An actor turns a dilapidated, inner-city mosque into a theater in just a few days. A 20-year-old buckles down on his studies at a historically black college after his mother dies of cancer. A community organizer decides his plan to create thousands of green jobs is too modest and enlarges it twenty-fold.

Barack Obama’s election to the White House is the very realization of what so many black fathers have told their sons to aspire to for years, even if often it was just a confidence-booster, not meant to be taken literally. And long before he wrapped up the contest, his candidacy had driven these three black men and others to actions they say they might not have taken without his example.

Jeff Obafemi Carr, who had been a successful actor in New York, was debating whether to return there or stay in Nashville, where he wanted to turn a run-down mosque into Nashville’s first black theater in a century. It was an ambitious and daunting idea considering that some in the neighborhood figured the building would wind up as a liquor store or a thrift shop.

Then the 41-year-old remembered a conversation he had with Obama during an Ohio campaign stop. The then-Democratic nominee encouraged him to keep working on his project.

“He told me that we’re going to make a big change for the country with my help,” Carr recalled.

When Carr returned from that event, he put his plan in motion. With the help of community volunteers, donated time from professional builders and materials from corporations, Carr set a date for construction and built the Amun Ra Theatre. Its first major performance will be next month with “Gem of the Ocean,” by American playwright August Wilson.

Throughout the process, Carr said he and the workers repeated Obama’s slogan: “Yes we can.” Now the theater’s Web site proclaims, “Yes, We Did!”

Justin Bowers, a junior at historically black Oakwood University in Huntsville, Ala., was thinking about dropping out after his mother died of cancer two years ago at age 48.

“It was a lot of stress,” Bowers said. “I was struggling. It was really hard.”

A friend pointed out Obama’s perseverance after the president-elect lost his 53-year-old mother to cancer. Bowers said the story motivated him to stay in school and study harder to honor his mom.

“I know she would have wanted me to press on with my life regardless of what adversities might come,” said Bowers, 20, who is majoring in accounting and marketing. “That’s just how I was raised. And clearly, that’s how Barack was raised.”

Van Jones, 40, founded Green For All, a national program that seeks to create clean energy jobs. His Oakland, Calif.,-based program, which employs 25 people and has an operating budget of $4.5 million, was instrumental in passing a portion of a national energy bill, called the Green Jobs Act. It will use up to $125 million to train 30,000 people in jobs such as installing solar panels and retrofitting buildings to make them more environmentally friendly.

With Obama’s election, Jones decided to shop a $33 billion proposal before Congress that would hire about 600,000 over the next two years for similar work.

“I wouldn’t have believed in myself enough to come forward with an idea that bold,” Jones said. “But now, you’ve got somebody who’s up there, who’s telling people, ‘Let’s be bold.’

“The ceiling has come off. We can dream of … bringing new technologies and new jobs into communities that have been left behind. Yes we can.”

Obama’s historic run has provided ammunition for black fathers, too, who can point to it in motivating the next generation of black men. Will Rodgers, a communications manager at an electric company in Tampa, Fla., said he takes every opportunity to talk to his 12-year-old son about Obama and “how our nation has transformed.”

“I want him to understand the gravity of what’s happened,” said Rodgers, who boasts of having been a conservative Republican who never voted for a Democrat for president until Obama.

“He can really be anything he wants to, even president of the United States.”

SISTER DEBORIAH TELLS US WHY SHE SUPPORTS POSITIVE POLYGAMY!

January 5, 2009

I understand the concepts of why a Honorable-Spritual man would have to take on multiple wives. The ultimate goal is to bring back Yah’s people and restore His Nation. The most important piece to it all is to esteem the Most High and give honor to him.

I am a married woman who have most recently come into the knowledge and understanding of “Polygamy” and seeing it as being a necessity within our community, for our people. I have considered this option with my own husband, but I have found that through this test, I failed. I am still somewhat insecure and jealous over my husband. Mainly because of the fear that men tend to walk in their lusts and in their flesh instead of always taking the spiritual approach. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

However, I still believe that day must come when our men must rise up as the Lions that they are called to be and lead our people back to the Most High in RIGHTEOUSNESS. My insecurity is something that the Most High is cleansing me out of – Malachai 3:3.

I know speaking as a woman who truly wants to serve the Most High, I have failed by looking to my man who doesn’t have all the answers….so I fault him for his trials and errors….Wrong answer ladies…I am convicted by this. However, I know who he is trying to serve. I have faith that the Father will build us up to where we need to be. We are being refined.

Its not time for our men to be pimps simply cause they think they got it like that, but hopefully our men see that there is truly a spiritual purpose and sincere need for our people; LET IT BE DONE RIGHTEOUSLY. Another problem is that we are having to renew our minds and break away from these ‘GENTILE’ ways. We are literally out of our mindset…part of our curses, so it is a struggle learning who we are supposed to be. The Word of Yah will correct that. Its not totally clear on how polygamy should be handled. This day and age, men in America really would have a much bigger burden in trying to treat all of his wives equally, because of the curses set against them. They barely can care for one family let alone 2, 3 or even 4. The women today would have to be in a lot of prayer and meditation regarding this subject, in order to unite in righteousness.

With that said, I do believe that in Yah’s time, the Most High will mold His people into one synchronous motion towards fulfilling and completing HIS WILL of bringing together this knowledge and understanding of the particular subject at hand.

This is something that would have to be done in righteousness and His will only.

Forcing it today would not work unless all are in one agreement and in synch spiritually. That is very rare… the majority of the women out there are not on the same page with this understanding, and if this is not handled properly it can actually destroy the family more than it can help it.

I think that if the women are spiritually grounded and have ONE mind and understanding for its purpose and regarding its need….truly serving the Most High to rebuild our people and our nation, then they will automatically possess the RESPECT and understanding that is required to come with this type of situation towards the other women in the home…this is regarding women in AMERICA. Not sure about any where else.

When done in the Most High’s will, it will be done in a peaceful manner and everyone will have that understanding and respect that must come with that. This action is not for everyone, but I read ISAIAH 4:1-2 and it was a hard pill for me to swallow, and it still chokes me up around the lung area from time to time..But nonetheless, it is HIS WORD… This is prophetic. Not all the time where the prophets directed to do things that they liked. Look at Ezekial who was commanded to eat over some human DUNG…and I struggle with my insecurity. One would think accepting another woman into our life would be a piece of cake, whats the problem, right?

Pride….However, I do feel that in the time of distress to come, people will begin to see things in a different light and begin to pull together as a nation. Its ineveitable. Ofcourse, those who choose to serve the Most High in Spirit and in Truth are the ones who will serve HIM in righteousness and pull together in this need. Verse 2 is most important, that In that day, it will be comely and esteemed to the Most High, Yah.

Our people are starting to wake up and see that this is needed. As a women, I must say I possess jealously like no other, but I see that the Most High is molding me. I choose to serve Him in spirit and in truth. I pray that one day he will take that jealousy completely away from me so that I can totally serve Him. Right now, I have to work on my insecurity issues within my own self….scars from the past.

I want to serve my Father and be pleasing in His eyes. I want to be that virtuous woman and be that strong servant that HE needs. Because that is what its gonna take to pull us together as a people/nation again, here in America.

I am not there yet…haven’t met my mark, but I am praying to get there. Surely, in todays world, it would make it much easier to deal with other women who are on the same page as me spiritually and have the same understanding. There is no time for women who are about nonsense and competition. A real honorable man would see that that is not healthy for the familyas a whole.

An extended family is just what it is ‘FAMILY’. Can we all just get along?

As was mentioned earlier, not many woman today are willing to humble themselves for this type of situation. Too many independent women and wanna be “Beyonce’s”…..Again, that is why I believe it will have to be done in the Most High’s time and in His will. He will move this nation to pull together eventually. We have a time of distress coming to our people…”Jacob’s Trouble”…..so right now its time to prepare.

I got a little winded, but overall, our brothers will have to eventually step up to the plate in spiritual righteousness which will include taking on additional wives and leading this nation back to Yah. Our children are suffering, many of are men and women are so lost. Something is about to take place.

Us women who are being called, so we might as well get ready for this, because it is to come. I personally wish there were more women out there to discuss this subject with on a spiritual level because it will help us grow in understanding together.
